2007 NASW Missouri Chapter Government Relations/MO-PACE Campaign

The social work profession is highly impacted by the social and political environment of society, more so than many other professions. In response to this urgent need to protect our profession and our clients in the political spectrum, NASW Missouri Chapter Government Relations/MO-PACE is launching a one-year campaign to raise financial support. Your funds help support a field organizer in the Missouri chapter office to enhance political awareness and raise voter participation among social workers. Your contribution helps support the campaign school to educate social workers on the political process and encourage them to become directly involved with politics by running for office. Your funds will assist in financially contributing to candidates running for political office from any party who support NASW’s policy agenda. A donation helps support educational events throughout the year where members can voice their issues to the Government Relations/MO-PACE Committee and directly impact the legislative agenda set by the chapter. We invite you to become a STAR by committing either your financial support or your time to advancing the power of social work in Missouri!

Contributors/Volunteers should sign up under the following categories:

GOLD STARS would make a commitment to support Government Relations/MO-PACE by selecting one of the following:

A. A contribution of $100.00

B. An agreement to volunteer 10 hours for Government Relations/MO-PACE

C. A contribution of $50.00 and an agreement to volunteer 5 hours

To thank you for your generous support, all GOLD STARS will receive recognition in the NASW Missouri News, on the chapter website and at NASW Missouri events. GOLD STARS will also receive a “This Social Worker Votes” button and a $5.00 coupon toward merchandise or publications from NASW Missouri.

SILVER STARS would make a commitment to support Government Relations/MO-PACE by selecting one of the following:

D. A contribution of $50.00

E. An agreement to volunteer 5 hours for Government Relations/MO-PACE

F. A contribution of $25.00 and an agreement to volunteer 3 hours

To thank you for your generous support, all SILVER STARS will receive recognition in the NASW Missouri News, on the chapter website and at NASW Missouri events. SILVER STARS will also receive a “This Social Worker Votes” button.
