Duties
§    Member of the Board of Directors
§    Be fully aware of issues needing action at Board meetings
§    Serve as chair on Committees and Task Forces as requested by President   
§    Interpret Board policies and decisions to membership
§ Represent the issues and concerns of constituency, and advocate in their best interest
§    Represent Chapter and profession as appropriate   
§ Member of the Regional Steering Committee

Expectations
§    Participate in monthly NASW activities in region
§    Attend all Board meetings
§ Support Representational Unit Chair in activities of the Unit
§    Conduct the business of the Chapter in accordance with Chapter bylaws
§    Participate in decision-making process to fulfill the mission of the chapter

Qualifications
§     Member of NASW
§     Active in NASW at the regional and state level
§     Enrolled in an accredited social work program at the time the student's board term begins

Time Commitment
§       Moderate - three hours per week
