NASW-Missouri Chapter is tracking bills within the following categories for the 2010 Missouri Legislative Session. These categories identify the Legislative Priorities & Initiatives, which were the top social justice issues selected by the association membership with the approval of the Chapter Board of Directors. Several of the social justice issues selected will be advocated for by the collaboration of NASW-Missouri Chapter and other organizations. NASW-Missouri Chapter does not take a position on all bills being tracked during the legislative session. The Bill Tracking System is designed to be informative and to enable professional social workers to take action for the profession and the clients we serve.

Legislative Bill Search
If you are interested in learning more about any of the bills on NASW-Missouri Chapter's tracking system, please follow the below instructions for locating the legislation on the Missouri House of Representatives website.
1. Visit http://www.house.mo.gov/billcentral.aspx?pid=26
2. In the Search box in the center of the page you may search by bill number. For Bill Number searches use a: HB for House Bills, SB for Senate Bills. Do not use a space between the SB/HB and the number of the bill: (SB100/HB100) not (SB 100/HB 100). Next click on the ‘search’ button.
3. A link to the bill that you requested will come up. Click on this link to more information on the bill including: Sponsor; Co-Sponsor; Last Action; Hearing; Calendar; Proposed Effective Date; Bill Summary; and Full Bill Text.
