Ethical and Legal Applications to CLAS standards and Title VI

Got CLAS? How much do you know about consumer's rights and provider's responsibilities in offering services to Limited English Speaking clients? The National CLAS (Culturally and Linguistically Appropriate Services) standards are primarily directed at health care organizations, however, individual providers are also encouraged to use the standards to make their practices more culturally and linguistically accessible.  There are fourteen standards with varying stringency: mandates, guidelines, and recommendations.
